Señor Phibes is an after-punk-techno-lo-fi trio from Barcelona, ​​indebted to sound and stylistic currents such as b movies, western and primitive electronics.

Señor Phibes was born in 2015, with an LP and five EPs released on Bandcamp, a compilation with the NØVAK label and three albums on digital platforms.
Señor Phibes are: Marta San Cho, bass (Minipimer y Algo tóxico); Pep Cremades, sampler, Moog, guitar and voice (JuliusMonk, Le Vian Sonore) and the recent incorporation, the austrian saxophonist Mel.

Señor Phibes is born from a character who poses as a mad doctor on the run from a b-horror movie (he's actually a late 60s serial spy character also escaped from their natural environment) to lead a life apparently normal, jobs, family, etc, under an ordinary appearance. Acting and creating diverse musical projects since the end of the 80s, from the audiovisual sound experimentation, even french-style cabaret, anglo-saxon pop, soundtracks, etc...
When the light finally comes on for him and he creates Señor Phibes in 2015, it is the perfect symbiosis to unleash stories bathed in Gothic and black novel influences, where the most dangerous monster is the human being...
