Coli 7

Coli7 aka Blas Martínez, is an electronic music producer and DJ, Hip-Hop and Rap singer-songwriter, as well as an experimenter who dives into the darkest and most abstract sound depths of drone and noise. He is the creator of the Spasmodic Poi-Sound label specialized in Drum & Bass (NeuroFunk) and Techno.
 
Originally from the Sierra de Aracena (Huelva), he began working as a DJ in venues throughout Andalusia in the 90s; M30, La Na-B, etc; in a multitude of tents, small rooms, terraces, and all kinds of parties; He came to work with Leo Bassi, taking charge of the music for the show Instintos Ocultos at the Aracena theater. He has also worked in Barcelona, ​​Manresa, or Vacarisses, as well as having gone out of Spain and played in France and Germany.

He has cultivated above all Techno and Break Beat, although he is not averse to Hardtechno or Darkside Trance. I used to play Drum & Bass at 33 rpm so I could mix it with Break Beat. Over the years he has developed an exquisite taste for the most butchery Drum & Bass, a NeuroFunk that he produces and plays with total solvency.

Between the 90s and the first decade of the 2000s, he worked for the Maledictis and La Totem labels.

In the vast universe of Rap and Hip-Hop, he has been a member of the groups Cosa Nuestra, Meta Mental and Maledictis. He is currently a member of P-Soneto along with Miss Chunga. He has also been a producer on Marvelous. He has shared a booth with: Man, Rupe, Lady Paca, Decat Buli, Lalo, Rasco, Multiman, among others... and has participated in festivals and raves in Seville, Granada, Malaga and Huelva: Lucidus Party, Rural Rave, Dragón...

Trained at the Aracena Conservatory, where he studied solfeggio, he played bugle and bugle in the municipal band.

He is a member of the duo Pandemonium, which produces electronic music with different synthesizers and groovebox, both live and in the studio.

His experimentation focuses on the use and exploitation of the Roland Groove Box to the limit of its possibilities. He started in Andalusia with research on the Roland MC-303, and continued his work on the Roland MC-505 during his residency in Catalonia. He has also experimented a lot with the Roland MC-909. His experimental work is present in several compilations.
