"Marco Rinaldi is a guitarist for the hardcore punk group Fall Out from La Spezia, Italy. Formed in 1979, the group has published several albums and has performed a long series of concerts. The drummer is the only member who remains in all reincarnations of the band despite the changes in their line-up. At the same time, Rinaldi and the singer (the two members who have felt the most need to explore other horizons) have a project called Casamatta, with a published CD that has recently played live with a different line-up. Two guitars, a bass, Rinaldi's son on samplers and on electronic drums and a voice. He is one of the best guitarists in the area and I have collaborated with him in the past, both live and in the studio.

 

'Profeta meccanico' was performed during lockdown, right after "Music For The Covid 19 Times". I wanted to do something different with a base that was not mine. Rinaldi would send me the compositions on separate tracks and I would intervene with filters, distortions, voices, drums, synthesizers, etc., and completely transformed (including the bits) the entire structure while keeping the melody intact. It started with it and then I added more things. These notes (we left out about 10 ideas) are the material for future compositions of Casammata and Fall Out. "(Tingis)
