Andrés Cavalotti + Martin Gatica
Del intercambio sonoro y experimental que mantuvieron durante muchos años Andrés Cavalotti y Martín Gatica de paisajes sonoros, guitarras, sampleos, piezas ambient y grabaciones de campos patagónicos nace el EP Cruzar el Valle. Durante el aislamiento que obligó la pandemia, todo este material tomó diferentes formas hasta llegar a esta, la final.
Andrés Cavalotti (1974). Sus instrumentos son los sintetizadores y las máquinas de ritmo. Integró la formación de Sonotipo, Chicho y creó el dúo Sapo, junto a Darío Romano con quien editó los discos Sapo (mezclado y masterizado por Daniel Melero) y Bosque Musical (masterizado por Pablo Brros). Participó como invitado en diferentes proyectos musicales que abarcan desde la música electrónica hasta el rock.
Martín Gatica (1973) es artista plástico, diseñador gráfico, realizador visual y guitarrista. Forma parte del Colectivo de Artistas Pueblo Chico (Trelew, Chubut) e integra Primo Estudio, espacio dedicado al diseño gráfico, el branding y la fotografía.
From the sound and experimental exchange that Andrés Cavalotti and Martín Gatica maintained for many years of soundscapes, guitars, samples, ambient pieces and recordings of Patagonian fields, the EP Cruzar el Valle was born. During the isolation that the pandemic forced, all this material took different forms until it reached this one, the final one.
Andrés Cavalotti (1974). His instruments are synthesizers and rhythm machines. He was part of the Sonotype group, Chicho and created the duo Sapo, together with Darío Romano with whom he edited the records Sapo (mixed and mastered by Daniel Melero) and Bosque Musical (mastered by Pablo Brros). He participated as a guest in different musical projects ranging from electronic music to rock.
Martín Gatica (1973) is a visual artist, graphic designer, visual producer and guitarist. He is part of the Pueblo Chico Artists Collective (Trelew, Chubut) and is a member of Primo Estudio, a space dedicated to graphic design, branding and photography.
